Parking Enforcement Activity – Runcorn Road, Moore

Good afternoon,

Following concerns raised regarding parking issues during school drop-off and pick-up times, I conducted a visit to Runcorn Road, Moore to assess the situation.

During the patrol, I observed several vehicles parked on the pavement and in areas subject to double yellow line restrictions. The drivers concerned were spoken to, advised regarding the restrictions, and asked to move their vehicles.

Parking in these locations creates unnecessary risks for pedestrians, particularly children and families travelling to and from school, while also causing obstruction and reducing visibility for other road users.

This email serves as a reminder that drivers are expected to park safely, legally, and with consideration for others. Further visits will be conducted in the coming weeks, and where offences are identified, enforcement action may be taken, including the issue of Fixed Penalty Notices.

The advice and warnings have now been given, and I would encourage all motorists using the area to ensure they comply with parking restrictions to help keep the local community safe.
