31 Weekly update from your PCSO – AL

Have you say and complete the resident voice survey attached to highlight your community issues/concerns https://www.cheshire.police.uk/residentsvoicenorthwich

Several reassurance visits have been made to SANDIWAY LIBRARY.  Unfortunately more criminal damage has been caused whilst I’ve been on annual leave. Multi agency meeting has been arranged for the end of this month working in partnership with other agencies to try and resolve/reduce incidents.

RESIDENT VOICE surveys have been completed with some residents on SANDOWN CRESCENT to gather a better understanding of community issues/concerns around SANDIWAY LIBRARY.   This info will be shared at this month’s MAW meeting.

STREET OF THE WEEK – following information received with regards to suspicious activity, resident voice surveys have also been completed with KENNEL LANE residents to collate their issues/concerns.

Reassurance visits have been made to several residents on ASH ROAD following reports relating to ASB occurring at the MUGA behind BLAKE LANE.  Patrol of the location will be increased to deter further problems as part of the problem profile set up in which offenders will be dealt with robustly.

Patrol has been made around CUDDINGTON YOUTH CLUB/VILLAGE HALL to provide reassurance to our community.  Pleased to report all has been in order this month so far.

Reassurance visit has been made following a report received of young males selling household products door to door.  If you witness please ring 101 so officers can be deployed to stop making further enquiries.

I have assisted PCSO youth engagement officer NIXON this week at BRIO, NORTHWICH where YEAR 6 pupils from various school attended the ‘CRUCIAL CREW’ event in which they learnt all about online safety. Fabulous interaction from all pupils and house points awarded to CROWTON primary school for their online safety knowledge and understanding.

I have attended CUDDINGTON PRIMARY SCHOOL to discuss with YEAR 5 pupils CRIME and CONSEQUENCES.  Superb interaction/behavior displayed by all.

You said, we did … resident voice survey!!  WALLERSCOTE ROAD speed enforcement has been conducted, the highest recorded speed being 33 mph.

CSW volunteer and I monitored motorist speeds on WELL LANE following speeding concerns raised to the parish from local residents.  2 offences captured the highest being 26 mph.

ACTON BRIDGE held their PLATINUM JUBILEE celebrations on SATURDAY.  Fun day in the sun with PC PANDA.

There’s been a murder (pretend).  SANDIWAY LIBRARY on THURSDAY 30TH JUNE at 7PM are holding a murder mystery evening.  If you have the detective skills to help identify the suspect(s) you can buy tickets from the library for £5 or online Cheshire West and Chester Council Libraries event tickets from TicketSource.

Whilst on my beat this week I have been accompanied by some of our media team, doing a bit of behind the scenes filming for the upcoming 40th anniversary of ‘Neighbourhood Watch’. It was lovely weather for foot patrol!!
