Dear Resident,

This e-mail is to inform you that there has been a theft from motor vehicle on Brock Street, Macclesfield. The offenders committed the offence overnight 13/06/2022 - 14/06/2022.

Offenders gained entry to the vehicle and stole items.

Most thefts are carried out by opportunist thieves, below are some ideas to prevent this happening to you.

• Always ensure that your vehicle is secure and locked.

• Don’t leave valuables in your vehicle.

• Consider parking your vehicle in a well lit, secure area with CCTV.

• If your car has keyless entry, consider purchasing a faraday bag that blocks the signal preventing thieves from using the signal to get in to your car.
