You Said, We Did!

This afternoon PCSO Michelle carried out parking patrols on Hawthorn Road & Northwich Road after concerns were raised about unsafe parking near Weaverham Academy Primary School. 3 vehicles were found parked on the zig-zag lines outside the school. School has been notified about the verbal conduct of 2 parents. Please remember – zig-zags = no parking at any time.

Operation Spotlight – National Community Speed Watch Day 

Community speed watch locations have been monitored in the Weaver and Cuddington ward, each 20-minute session in support of Operation Spotlight. Monitored roads include:

Results:

• 308 vehicle speeds monitored

• 24 police warning letters to be issued for exceeding the speed limit

You said, we did …..

• Northwich Road: Speed enforcement conducted with 3 offences captured, the highest being 42 mph. Video evidence processed for the central ticket office to progress further.

Engagement with pupils at Weaverham Academy primary school was also conducted by myself to discuss the importance of photo and video sharing. We discussed the potential consequences of sharing content without consent, emphasizing the importance of privacy and respect in online interactions.

You said …. school parking was a concern. 

We did … school parking patrol around WEAVERHAM HIGH SCHOOL and FOREST STREET primary school to provide reassurance to all. Parking monitored, ensuring drop off and pick-up times were as safe and efficient as possible.
