Pickmere Lake in Knutsford is one of Cheshire’s hidden gems — a peaceful place to walk, paddle, picnic, or simply relax and enjoy the natural beauty. It’s a space loved by both locals and visitors, and we all share a role in keeping it that way.

Officers are continuing to monitor this area due to increasing parking issues. Please park sensibly — narrow village roads and limited parking, meaning inconsiderate parking can block access for residents and emergency services. Tickets will be issued to any vehicles parked illegally. 

Barbecues and open fires are not allowed — they pose a serious fire risk and damage the landscape. Drugs and antisocial behaviour are not tolerated — police patrols are active, and anyone found using or possessing illegal substances could face prosecution.

Let’s all do our bit to protect Pickmere and keep it safe, clean, and welcoming for everyone.
