This months Junior Safety Officers bulletin covers being safe when travelling in vehicles.
The Junior Safety Officers at Neston Primary School have been out and about this week measuring pupils and you may have seen your children come home with an 🟠 orange or 🔵 blue sticker. This sticker is to advise you if they still need a car seat or are tall enough to just be using the adult seat belt.
🟠 Children have been given an orange sticker if they are under 135cms tall and a 🔵 blue sticker if they are tall enough for parents to consider just using the adult seat belts.
‼️ However, if your child has been given a blue sticker and they don’t meet the below it is still safer to continue using a car seat of some kind:
▪️ Can they sit with their back flat against the vehicle seat back.
