Good Morning 

Please be aware that there have been a numerous reports made to us in relation to the same scam and method, this has been ongoing the last few weeks and we have received reports all over Crewe. 

The Scammers are claiming to be a Detective from Cheshire Police and are giving out a false name and collar number stating they work in Crewe Police Station. They normally use either a withheld number or from a number that is not registered to the UK. They also mention phrases like, your card has been used in supermarkets recently and is now part of an investigation, or that your bank details have been found during an investigation and you need to confirm them. 

Please be hypervigilant when answering calls moving forward as we do not want anyone to fall foul to this scam and these scammers.
