We have got a Community Cohesion Group meeting in relation to “USE OF FORCE” powers. This will be held at MACCLESFIELD ACADEMY, PARK LANE, MACCLESFIELD. If you would like to attend this session then please RSVP to Pauline.Holt@macclesfieldacademy.org in order to secure a place. 

This is a free event that would be held on Monday 27th January from 10:15-12:15. 

Purpose of a Community Cohesion Group (CCG) brings together a wide range of individuals, representing the diverse community demographics within Cheshire to scrutinise policing at a local level. 

CCG attendees have the opportunity to examine the use of policing powers in their local community to ensure transparency, legitimacy and accountability. 

The Local Policing Commander will attend the CCG to enable community representatives to understand and inform local policing practice to ensure it is fair, effective and equitable.
