Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property: ELLESMERE PORT EAST • Ellesmere Port Town • Rhuddlan Court – Following snow overnight residents have woken to find footprints leading to the rear doors of several properties in local vicinity. The footprints have gone over boundary fencing and up to vehicles parked locally. No entry has been gained into any properties or vehicles. *May be same offenders. • Marlborough Road – Unknown male has attempted to open the front door of the property using bodily force before running off with an accomplice, who was waiting at the end of the driveway. No entry gained. *May be same offenders. • Whitby • Vale Road – Male, carrying a rucksac climbs through an insecure lower floor window to access property. Once inside the keys to a blue Audi A3S-Line, DC24 GXO are taken, along with the vehicle. – Male arrested and charged.
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
• Neston • Ringway - Unknown male has opened, a possibly insecure front door and entered property. As homeowner has appeared the male has left the property in an unknown direction. • Brook Street – Unknown offender forced entry into flat and took a chain watch and perfume.

ELLESMERE PORT WEST • Neston • Mayfield Gardens – Unknown male attempted to open the door of a shed. No entry gained.
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles: ELLESMERE PORT EAST • Ellesmere Port Town • Somerville Crescent – Gaden gate kicked off hinges. – Named suspect. • Mercer Walk – Four young males smashed window of vacant shop using cones and stones. • Rossmore • King Street – Unknown person witnessed throwing a brick at the window of property. Fortunately, the glass in the window has not smashed.
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
• Sutton • Talbot Avenue – Plant stand thrown through the front window of property. • Grange • Chester Road – Male removed padlock to a cupboard inside the communal area to store bike. When he has then believed his bike has been stolen, he has caused damage to the communal doors by repeatedly kicking them. – Named offender.
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft: ELLESMERE PORT EAST • Ellesmere Port Town • Wellington Road – Male approached female on car park of Asda and grabbed handbag, which had been in the trolley but also held by reporting person. Having pulled it from their hands he has ran off with it. – *Male arrested and charged (also responsible for a theft of handbag in the alleyway on Exeter Road and a robbery from a shop on the Westminster estate during the Christmas period). • Rossmore • The Birches – Unknown male steals parcel from doorstep. ELLESMERE PORT WEST
• Parkgate • Brooklands Road – Unknown offenders approach residential garden and remove a desk seat. • Sutton • Capenhurst Lane – Unknown person enters garden. Destroys snowman, taking the hat and scarf it had been wearing.
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT OF motor vehicles: ELLESMERE PORT EAST • Ellesmere Port Town • Milton Road – Orange Honda CBR, WG66 YNZ stolen from driveway by unknown means. – Vehicle located within the communal area of Walkworth Court. It was found, having been painted black, with the ignition wires cut and rags stuck into fuel tank. • Whitby • Vale Road - Blue Audi A3S-Line, DC24 GXO taken after keys stolen during a burglary. – Male arrested and charged.
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT FROM motor vehicles:
ELLESMERE PORT EAST • Ellesmere Port Town • Ashfield Road – Dacia Sondero taxi, parked up at roadside has windscreen smashed and cash taken from within. • Rossmore • George Street – Ford Transit, parked on residential driveway entered by unknown means via the side door. Quantity of tools Dewalt tools, including nail gun, cordless drill, jigsaw and router taken.
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
• St. Pauls • Parklands – Unknown male has entered an insecure motor vehicle (no further details) and been confronted by owner whilst sitting in the front seat. Male has made off, pursued by owner but been lost. Wallet found to have been taken from vehicle.
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
• Grange • Camden Road – Damage caused to passenger wingmirror on vehicle (no further details) by 2 unknown males who have then run off.
