Hi folks,

Just an update on today's visit to Netherpool Rd following concerns from residents of speeding passed onto myself from Councillor Kendrick.

This is the 30mph stretch of road before you reach the roundabout and 40mph section heading towards the M53.

There are many pedestrians and dog walkers from the estate trying to cross the road here and some vehicles are picking up speed too early within the 30mph limit.

Please keep to the speed limit keeping our roads safe for pedestrians and drivers.

Today's enforcement  was between 15:23-15:54 hrs with 9 vehicles speeding between 35-43mph. If eligible the drivers will be offered and then pay for a speed awareness course instead of a fine and penalty points.

We will continue to monitor this section of road.
