The Mini Police programme presentation has been delivered to Year 5 children at Weaverham Primary Academy this week. All year 5 children will be given to opportunity to engage in real-world activities like speed checks, parking patrols, and litter picks, developing a sense of responsibility, teamwork, and community spirit. The application and interview process are also a great way for children to build confidence and articulate their interests, while the attestation ceremony will be a proud moment for them and their families. The children will also build positive interactions with the police building positive relationships with the police and the community.
Year 5 children at Weaverham Primary Academy have been learning essential road safety skills this week. A big well done to all the children for completing their first CWAC Let’s Walk practical session. This session covered staying safe while out and about helping to build their independence and confidence. All children successfully completed - crossing safely, identifying safer crossing points, managing tricky situations like parked cars.
A thoughtful gesture from Weaverham Primary Academy who have been learning about all the emergency services. This week the school and children shown their appreciation with a thank-you poster for Cheshire POLICE.
Wonderful start to Advent at St Mary's Cafe church. Great engagement in craft activities and connecting with the faith community this morning.
This afternoon WEAVER and CUDDINGTON beat team attended BLAKEMERE CRAFT CENTRE Christmas markets discussing with visitors their community issues/concerns, later attending ACTON BRIDGE Christmas light switch on. Thank you to ACTON BRIDGE PARISH for their kind invitation.
