Hi all please see the below advice on some ways to deter vehicle crime lots of advice to help prevent vehicle theft, which I have summarised below: Try and park in well lit, busier areas. You can further protect keyless or higher value vehicles by blocking them in or using collapsible bollards.Remove valuables from your vehicle. Always lock your vehicle and close the windows and sunroof.Fitting a Sold Secure steering wheel, gear lever or clutch pedal security device
will give you added protection. Manually check your vehicle has locked before walking away. Keep keys in a safe place out of sight and away from doors and windows.Thieves can intercept the signal from your key from a few meters away. You should keep all keys well away from the car, put keys in a signal blocking pouch (faraday pouch) and if you can, turn off wireless signals on your fob when not in use.
