Hello resident, please see the below information supplied by Halton Trading Standards. Lifeline / Telehealthcare Scam Telephone Calls Halton residents have received unsolicited telephone calls this week concerning their Lifeline / Telehealthcare Service. The callers are stating that the button on the users equipment needs changing, but in order to do this there is a charge of £300. This is a scam, the Lifeline / Telehealthcare Service is functioning as per normal. Halton Borough Council will not cold call and ask for users personal details and or bank details.
