Ellesmere Port & Neston Police Neighbourhood Crime update - 12 to 26 May 2024


Please note this is not a complete list of all incidents reported during this period - it is purely for the information of local residents to make them aware of incidents that have taken place within their area.

Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property:

 

ELLESMERE PORT EAST  

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Princes Road – Entry gained into property by smashing a ground floor bathroom window.  Property searched and safe taken.
  • ELLESMERE PORT WEST  

  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Snowden Close - 
  • Sutton
  • Ascot Drive – Entry gained into property via unknown means. Cupboard behind door searched and wallet removed from coat pocket.  Door keys in door lock taken which included the key to a black BMW 420D, YJ18 YRG  which was also taken.
  • Incidents reported relating to OUTBUILDINGS/GARDENS:

     

    ELLESMERE PORT WEST  

     

  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Snowden Close – Insecure VW Golf, parked on residential driveway entered and garage fob removed from glove box.  Garage entered and Trek Mountain bike taken. – * Believed to be the same offender.
  • Ledsham Park Road – Garage entered by unknown means. Cannondale road bike taken. – Bike recovered a short distance away and returned to owner. – * Believed to be the same offender.
  • Grange
  • Wooden garden shed entered by unknown means.  Black and white Cube Attention bike taken.

    Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

    ELLESMERE PORT WEST  

     

  • Sutton
  • Appleton Drive – Window at ‘Sea Cadets’ building smashed.

    Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

    ELLESMERE PORT EAST  

  • Rossmore
  • Worcester Walk – Unknown male offender entered garden and took an orange Pinnacle childrens bike.
  • ELLESMERE PORT WEST  

  • Sutton
  • Kendal Drive – Unknown male offender approached rear of property and climbed over fence into garden.  Black Carrera Vulcan Mountain bike taken.
  • Ascot Drive – Three unknown males approach residential property.      One climbs over garden fence into rear garden and re-appears carrying a Trek Mountain bike which is then taken.

    Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT OF motor vehicles:

     

    ELLESMERE PORT WEST  

  • Neston
  • Hawkins Road – Black Suzuki GZ 125, DK04 FRT taken from outside front of property, by an unknown male during the early hours of the morning. The bike was pushed away from the address in the direction of Raleigh Road.
  • Sutton
  • Ascot Drive – Black BMW 420D, YJ18 YRG taken after keys obtained during a burglary.
  • Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT FROM motor vehicles:

    ELLESMERE PORT EAST  

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Denbigh Court – Audi A6 has both the front and rear registration plates, showing ST59 URK removed and taken.
  • ELLESMERE PORT WEST  

  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Capenhurst Lane – Entry gained into Audi Q5 by unknown means.  Purse taken.
  • Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:
     
    ELLESMERE PORT WEST  

  • Grange
  • The Boulevard – VW Polo has offside window smashed.
  • Pooltown Road – Vauxhall Astra has rear car window smashed by unknown male on a white push bike.  The male was wearing a grey coat and balaclava.
  • If you have any CCTV, dash cam footage, etc., that you think may have captured something of relevance in relation to any of the below incidents, further information such as dates and times can be provided.
